New Online Banking is easier to use and is packed with exciting features to speed up your banking – whether you’re logging in, making payments or navigating around.
We're introducing the service to customers now – so you'll get to use it soon. What hasn’t changed is our focus on security – new Online Banking is still completely secure.

If you're logging in to new Online Banking for the first time, you can watch our demo video to see what's changed.

We’ve made it even easier to view your account balances and transactions. At a glance, you will only see 1 balance per account on your homepage – this is the current cleared balance for that account. It is the money that's available for you to use immediately. Remember, though, your balance is updated throughout the day and some transactions you've already made may not appear on your account right away. So please ensure you keep track of your payments separately until they appear. To check whether payments have appeared on your account, select the account you're interested in from your homepage to see a condensed view of its transactions. You can expand each transaction to see more detail. |

Here are just a few of the new features we’ve introduced:
| Personalise your homepage Make the homepage your own by selecting the information you want to appear, in the order you want. You can also carry out many tasks without leaving your homepage. |
Easier log in Choose the details you use to log in – whether it's your membership number, debit card number or sort code & account number. Set up a passcode to log in without PINsentry. |
| International payments With new Online Banking, you can now send money to bank accounts overseas. And you can make payments to UK accounts which are guaranteed to arrive on the same day. |
Help Centre We’ve created a comprehensive Help Centre so you’ll never be stuck when banking with us online – whether you’re managing your existing accounts or applying for new ones. |
| Track my payments It’s now much easier to check the status of your payments. Under Track my payments, you can see the date and time the payment was made, and if it was accepted. |
Standing orders It now only takes a few clicks to set up a regular payment – between your accounts or to someone else’s. Just go to Set up a standing order under Account services. |
Once we've moved you over to new Online Banking, you can no longer access the old version. When you select the 'Log in' button from our website, you’ll be taken directly to the log-in page for new Online Banking. Please call the Online Banking helpdesk on 0845 600 2323 1 from 7am to 11pm any day of the week if you experience problems (outside the UK dial +44 2476 842063).
